Dr. Marco Lavagnino is a distinguished professional in the pharmaceutical industry with over 28 years of experience at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where he currently serves as the Medical Director for Cardiovascular and Renal. He has led regional and global projects, playing a key role in the development and implementation of medical strategies for cardiovascular products in Latin America. With extensive international experience and a strong track record in managing medical teams, Lavagnino is fluent in English, Spanish, and German. His academic background includes a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of El Salvador.

Dr. Sheth is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Otolaryngology at UNC, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where he also completed his fellowship in medical oncology. Dr. Sheth’s research and clinical practice focuses on the treatment of head and neck and thyroid cancers. He earned his DO at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Master of Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Dr. Odriozola holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery and is a Specialist in Endocrinology and Nutrition from the Ministry of Health, Santiago de Compostela, Barcelona, Spain. He completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Dallas Center, Texas, USA. He is a former Clinical and Basic Researcher in the Departments of Endocrinology and Nutrition at the Ibero-American Institute of Endocrinology AIETI and IDIBAPS, Hospital Universitari Clínic of Barcelona, Spain.

Dr. Odriozola is a full member of SED, EASD, and EASD-Neurodiab and is the founder of NEURALAD (Study Group for Diabetic Neuropathy of the Latin American Diabetes Association). He serves as President of the Odriozola Foundation for the Study and Treatment of the Diabetic Foot in LATAM. He is the editor of four scientific journals, four books on diabetes and endocrinology, and has 36 internationally impactful publications. Dr. Odriozola has been awarded European Union Innovation in Health Awards in 2016 and 2017 for the diagnostic instrument NerveCheck Master.

Jennifer McVean, MD, is a pediatric endocrinologist who cares for children with diabetes and growth disorders. She sees patients at M Health Fairview's Maple Grove Clinic and Pediatric Specialty Clinic in Woodbury. Dr. McVean is an assistant professor in the department of pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Luigi Meneghini, MD, MBA, serves as Vice President and US Medical Head of Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes at Sanofi since November 2020, specializing in transforming the medical approach to diabetes products. Previously, Luigi was a Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Executive Director of the Global Diabetes Program at Parkland Health & Hospital System. At the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, Luigi held various positions, including Voluntary Professor of Medicine and Director of the Kosow Diabetes Treatment Center, focusing on diabetes care, clinical research, and education. Luigi holds a Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine, an Executive MBA from the University of Miami, and a BA in Chemistry and French from Emory University.

Dr. Danilo Verge, MBA, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of ViewMind Inc. Dr. Verge brings to ViewMind over 20 years of global experience as Vice President of Medical Affairs, including 16 years at Novo Nordisk [NYSE: NVO], 5 years at AstraZeneca [NASDAQ: AZN], and 2 years at Zealand Pharma [OTC: ZLDPF]. Dr. Verge has expertise in a variety of medical indications, including metabolic, gastrointestinal, renal, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge in medical affairs, including regulatory matters, particularly those related to the FDA and EMA, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), clinical operations, and safety.
